International admissions

Bezmialem Vakıf University admits students from abroad through its own online application portal rather than the Turkish YKS examination. Its International Relations Office publishes a country-by-country table of accepted school-leaving qualifications and entrance examinations with minimum scores, including TR-YÖS (300/500 for Medicine and Dentistry, 200/500 for other faculties), SAT I (at least 1000 total for Medicine and Dentistry, minimum 550 Mathematics for other faculties), ACT (at least 24 in each of Mathematics, Science and Composition), IB (minimum 30) and GCE (at least two subjects at A level). Candidates who do not hold one of the listed documents must reach the total score set by the Senate in the university's own examination. Eligibility is restricted to foreign nationals and certain former or dual Turkish citizens who did not attend secondary school in Türkiye or the TRNC, plus Turkish citizens who completed all of high school abroad.

• Photocopy of the high school diploma; candidates still in their final year may apply with a provisional graduation certificate from their school
• Official high school transcript (grade document)
• National or international examination result document (required if the applicant is not applying on the diploma alone)
• One passport-size photograph
• Photocopy of the passport identity page
• English language proficiency certificate (optional): TOEFL iBT minimum 75/120, or the university's own İYS examination minimum 75/120 — holders are exempted from the compulsory English preparatory class and start directly as undergraduates
• Turkish language proficiency document (optional)
• Reference letter (optional)
• All documents uploaded to the online system must be in Turkish or English
• A foreign-language result document must come from an examination conducted by a state university
• Applications are submitted online through the International Student Application Form portal
• Eligible groups include foreign nationals; former Turkish citizens and their minor children holding the Document on the Exercise of Recognised Rights; people who acquired Turkish citizenship later; Turkish citizens who completed all of high school abroad (outside the TRNC); and TRNC nationals holding GCE AL results under stated conditions
• Not eligible: Turkish citizens who completed all of high school in Türkiye or the TRNC, and dual citizens whose first citizenship at birth was Turkish (with the stated exceptions)
